Successes & Achievements - Music & Drama
Every year both Junior and Senior Choirs compete in various festivals where the competition is always of a very high standard. Both choirs have enjoyed a number of successes – especially pleasing as anyone wishing to join our choirs may do so without an audition. Oakfield choirs have in the past entered the BBC School Choir of the Year competition, and enjoyed recording their entries at the Yehudi Menhuin School. They perform regularly at school events and outside, for example in concert with the prestigious Farnham Youth Choir, as well as giving recitals at local nursing homes and day centres for the elderly.
