Admissions - Scholarships

Academic scholarships may be offered at entry to the Senior School. One external scholarship is available, and a further award is available to an Oakfield Year 6 pupil. At each stage scholarships are offered to one internal and one external candidate, following a written examination in English and mathematics, a short interview with the Principal and a confidential report from the Head of the current school. Scholarship awards are based on outstanding ability in English and mathematics, together with all-round qualities assessed at interview. An academic scholarship is worth 50% of fees for the duration of the child’s time at Oakfield.

Ballet scholarships are awarded to pupils nominated by the Susan Robinson School of Ballet who show outstanding dance potential. Similarly, Music scholarships may be awarded to pupils who show outstanding musical potential.
